Book Review: A Cowboy Christmas

This book had me all in my feels. Just as beautiful on the inside, as the front cover, this hardback book filled with cowboy Christmas stories, recipes, and entertainment tips will give you great ideas to make your holiday memorable. It starts out with tips on how to make your home feel special during the holiday season and provides stories from professional rodeo families and those living the Western lifestyle. The thing that I loved most about this book was that it wasn’t just a recipe book, it provided stories as a source of inspiration and also useful tips to make your memories shine.

I’ve never been much of an entertainer, but I have always wanted to be. I feel like I could be, after reading this book because it gives a road map to hosting an event that people will be sure to remember for years to come. Memories they hold in their heart. It provides the tricks of the trade for being a gracious host, actually living in the season, and promoting good tidings and cheer.

From how to set an amazing buffet table to what to do with the extra trimmings from the tree, this book will inspire and show you how to make it happen. The recipes look delicious, providing steps for preparing exquisite meals like Prime Rib, bacon-wrapped green beans, and scalloped potatoes. There are also recipes for drinks, desserts, and candy.

Keep it for yourself or give it as a gift, it will be sure to be a gift that keeps giving each year.
